Things to do: Sunflower fields in Mississippi are in full bloom
Coastal Ridge Farm
The official start of summer is upon us and during this unique time we still have to find the fun! The Coastal Ridge Farm grows a field of sunflowers every year just for that.
They are now open to the public to enjoy for the months of May - June, and in fall, mid Sept - Oct.
Costs:
For a small fee of $12.60 online or $15 cash you can schedule a 2.5 hour time slot to take photos, cut flowers to take home and spend time or with your favorites!
They say they are open as long as they have flowers and the weather is good, so check the weather before showing up!
How does this work during COVID?
You must schedule your time and pay online or pay with cash only in person. (You must be 12 and up to enter)
To pick flowers you must:
Bring your own cutters and a bucket. You can only collect 10-15 stems per bucket. Check their site for the most recent number allowed!
If you can find joy during this time you are winning. Go have fun in nature, get some fresh air and take some dope photos while you are there!
